Objective: We will identify and recognize the letter Kk and the sound that it makes.

Closing task: I will be able to draw and label a picture that begins with the letter Kk.

Critical Writing: Students will create a list of words that begins with the letter Kk.

  • Subtraction
  • Count backward from 20
  • Read, write, and represent numbers to 80

  • We will use manipulatives to act out and solve subtraction story problems.
  • We will identify, build, and write numbers 16.

 

Closing Task:

  • I will solve subtraction problems by modeling, sketching and writing the problem.
  • I will use manipulatives to build sets to represent the numbers 16.
