The mission of the Instructional Programs Department is to provide leadership and support for research-based best practices in curriculum, instruction, assessment and professional development.

This department provides a challenging technology-enriched curriculum aligned with state standards along with district-wide assessments aligned with state standards.

Curriculum and Instruction also provides research-based strategies and methodologies to meet the diverse needs of students and also uses Response to Intervention protocol to monitor the progress of all students. Ongoing professional development is provided for all instructional staff.
