This is my first year as an Atlanta Rabbit! I have been teaching for 14 years. I have taught pre-k, first, life-skills, and kindergarten. This will be my 6th year in a kindergarten classroom. I am excited to be teaching kindergarten.
I have been teaching for 14 years. My last postion was the lead kindergarten teacher for Texarkana ISD, I have have the wonderful privliage to be Teacher Of The Year, Attend Leadership academy, and be in charge of Leader in Me student lighthouse team. Allowing my student to become leader and have a voice when it comes to learning is very important to me. Each of my student will be accountable for their learning as we work together as a team to help them become a successful learner.
I have been married for 8 years to my wonderful husband Michael. We have three children and two foster children. Our oldest is 25 and the youngest just turned 6. I have one pet named Mable.
I love to spend time with my family. During the summer we spent a lot of time on our boat. When i’m not teaching i’m helping at the church or doing activities with our children. I love learning new things and when I have time to do Yoga it helps me stay grounded.
